Friday 18 March 2016, on the Olympic track in Pragelato-Plan, will be held the cross country ski competition of SCIJ Meeting 2016, exactly ten years after the end of memorable edition of  the Paralympics Winter Games, hosted in Turin and its alpine valleys. On the track at Pragelato in March 2006, hundreds of disabled athletes in cross country ski competition competed in front of a large crowd,  giving at all a demonstration of their courage and  their athletic ability. Thanks to the help of Elisa Grill – ski instructor  specialized in cross country ski for disable people – the competitors of SCIJ Meeting will have some very special forerunners, champions in the sport but especially in the life. Four guys, with their fortitude and their passion, will show this beautiful sport from their point of view. We are talking about Marta and Emanuele, 11years old with Down syndrome, Simone, who is blind, Silvia former skier in Paralympics Setting category (athletes racing in wheelchair); all these athletes are very braves and keen on ski. Marta, Emanuele, Simone and Silvia will be the very special forerunner of the race, to celebrate the return of the SCIJ Meeting on the Piedmont mountains and to thank the journalist skiers from around the world for the chance to make it clear to the media the real meaning of "the sport for all".
