SCIJ Rules of Partecipation

We wish to remind you that, with regard to International SCIJ Meetings participation, SCIJ establishes the following:

"only professional journalists; 50% of the participants must be under 45; 1/3 must be female".

Please, respect these rules on Team membership. Otherwise OC and IC will be forced to ask you to modify the composition of your National SCIJ Team.

The National SCIJ Boards must also provide in the Application Form information about possible Honorary Members/HMs, IC Members and Guests (Turkey for "Erzurum 2012", Argentina for "Argentina 2013", Switzerland for "Champéry – Portes du Soleil 2014", Spain for "Baqueira Beret 2015").

Deadline for the Application Form

Please, send the Application Form with each member personal valid Press card (or accreditation letters by a publisher, in case they don't have a Press card), a copy of the passport and 1 photo for each participant to:

Partecipation fee

The 185 euro participation fee must be sent to the OC for each participant (also in the case of Honorary Members and IC Members – not in the case of Guests). Payments

Participation fees must arrive before 15th february

In case of no verified money transfer for the participation fee, the relative National SCIJ Team will not be accepted at "Pontedilegno – Tonale 2013" International SCIJ Meeting.

Visa

If your team need a visa for your trip to Italy, please write an email to info@gisgis.it, specifying all the necessary informations (names, personal data, media, arrival/return flights). We can send you an official letter of invitation and give an alert to the italian embassy in your country, where you can obtain a visa.  

Post Tour

Please remember to tell us as soon as possible if somebody of your team would like to partecipate to the post tour in Brescia-Lago di Garda. as it is subject to confirmation. We don't have yet the minimum necessary number of partecipants (20).

Categories

By the way, we wish to remember that for this year SCIJ Meeting competitions, the classifications will be based on these categories

Junior (WJ, MJ): 1969, ...70, ...71, and so on;

Senior (WS, MS): 1968 – 1959 included;

Super Senior (WSS, MSS): 1958, ...57, ...56, and so on.
