Pontedilegno, 2013, March 9-16
SATURDAY March 9th
Arrivals by planeSCIJ Meeting participants will be welcomed by OC Staff in Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo Orio al Serio airport at their arrival. There will be at least three shuttle buses from the airports to Pontedilegno Tonale during the day.
Shuttle bus will take around three hours and a half (from Malpensa), maybe four hours, to get to Pontedilegno. During the trip participants will be registered by OC Staff, and will receive hotel voucher, ski pass, badge, maps, updated program of the week and all the necessary informations. Shuttle buses will drive you directly to your hotels.
The first bus will leave Malpensa around 13.00 (1 pm) , proceding to Linate, Orio, Pontedilegno. A second bus will leave Malpensa around 17.00 (5 pm) to Linate, Orio Pontedilegno. The last bus for the late arrivals will leave Malpensa at 22.00, proceding to Linate and Pontedilegno. Scij Meeting partecipants arrived in the previous days should join the rest of the group in Malpensa Airports .
Tomorrow each national board will receive a detailed plan with the indication of shuttle buses timetable for their members.
Arriving by car
Please go directly to the Accreditation center in the CFP "Centro di Formazione Professionale", Via F.LLi Calvi, 42, Pontedilegno. The Accreditation Center will be opened from 11.00 in the morning, till 22.00 in evening. There you will be registered and given all the necessary infos and documents for your stay (hotel voucher, skipass, etc...) .
12.00 – 20.00 - Skis and boots rental. People who have booked equipment with the application form will find their skis, boots, helmets and so on in Fior di Roccia - Ski Rental, Piazzale Europa, Pontedilegno.
SUNDAY March 10th
8.00 - 10.00 - Skis and boots rental. People who have booked equipment with the application form will find their skis, boots, helmets and so on in Fior di Roccia - Ski Rental, Piazzale Europa, Pontedilegno.
10.00 - 15.00 - Divided in different groups, we will discover the slopes of Pontedilegno Tonale with the OC Staff members and the Teachers of Adamello Ski School
17.30 - Captains meeting in the CFP - Centro Formazione Professionale
18.15 - Opening Ceremony. Parade of the National Teams partecipating to the 60° SCIJ Meeting through the city on Pontedilegno. Welcome address by the local Authorities.
20.00 - Dinner buffet in the Sport Hall.
MONDAY March 11th
Morning - Free ski
14.30 - 16.00 - Training on the Giant Slalom race track - Pista Serodine

19.30 - Nation's Evening in Sport Hall (kitchens available)
22.30 - Disco night at the All Inn (close to the lift station)
WEDNESDAY March 13th
09.00 - Cross country skis and boots rentals for those who have requested it by the application form.
10.00 - 17.00 - If you want you can check and test the cross country track in Valbione. You can reach it by a lift from Pontedilegno.
16.30 - Captains meeting
17.00 - General Assembly SCIJ in the Council Chamber of Pontedilegno
21.00 - Dinner in the hotels or in the restaurants in Pontedilegno
22.30 - Disco at the All Inn

THURSDAY March 14th
09.00 - Pontedilegno - Cross country skis and boots rental.
10.00 - Pista di Valbione - Bibs distribution at the start of the cross country race.
12.00 - Pista di Valbione - Dutch soup, italian wines and cheese, and prize award ceremony
14.00 - Tour in Franciacorta wine region, and visit to the wine's cellar (max 50 people)
14.00 - Tour in Capo di Ponte, visit to the archeological rock inscriptions (13.000 B.C.) - Unesco site.
17.30 - Round Table on the glaciers - Council Room -
20.30 - Dinner in the hotels or restaurants in Pontedilegno
22.30 - Disco night (All Inn)

FRIDAY March 15th
10.00 - Free ski TECNICA Day - Test of the new Blizzard Ski Collections 2013-2014 in the presence of Daniela Ceccarelli (winner of Gold Olympic Medal - Salt Lake, USA)
17:30 - Captains meeting
20:30 - Sport Hall. Gala Dinner, Combination competition Prize award and Closing Cremony. Guests are requested to wear evening dressing.
